Introductions, Cliches and the general gist of things.
Hey people,
Firstly I have to say that this ain't no ordinary picture blog. Well, it won't be when I actually start posting and all.
Ok, so there's a reason why the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words." became a cliche. Yeah? So bear with me here. Especially when I say yes it's true and I'm changing this blog from a science project into a picture project... of sorts.
Heh. There's even a Wikipedia definition of the saying.
"A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the notion that a
complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also
aptly characterises one of the main goals of visualisation, namely making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly.
I have yet to decide on the specifics of this "project" but I'll take any suggestions in the c-box or from people I know. Until then I'll start off with pictures that I've taken in account with recent events in my life. When I had one before HSC. Hah.
Anyway, this first picture is one that my sister and I collectively created AGES and AGES ago. We originally wanted to use it as a cover for a story, but that never eventuated. Not yet. So no stealing, 'kay? Hope you like it anyway.
